Pressure Sensor

The cover and the case must be welded absolutely tight in order to withstand pressures of several hundred bars.

The extremely accurate and sensitive electronic circuit must not be damaged by the heat developed during the welding procedure.

It is mandatory that the welding procedure takes place without an undue power reserve, that is, the welding surface is prepared for the required measuring pressure by means of an optimisation of the ring notch.

A welding time as short as possible must be worked with, in order to keep the temperature within the limits allowed anyway. Tmust be absolutely uniform in the entire ring area, because requirements for tightness are high. This demands high standards of parallelism and stability of the welding head.
