Characteristic Features

• The variety of different welding currents and control pressures is provided by two type PSK 04 parallel welding heads arranged side by side as the basis of the design, with electrical actuators and pneumatically movable electrode carriages as well as a pressure control system
• Lower electrode carriage pneumatically movable, with an adjustable positive stop
• Upper welding carriage movable by means of fast electrical actuation
• Final stroke by means of compressive force control (piezo element) in order to obtain an accurate welding pressure
• Welding post-carriage by way of a spring pack
• Measurement of the initial position (check for presence of the components) and of the welding stroke by means of high-accuracy incremental probes with a resolution of 0.001 mm 
• PC measuring system for the measurement and evaluation of the welding current, initial position, melting stroke and pressure
• Analysis of the measured values by means of quality assurance software
• Medium frequency welding generator with 64 programs
• Feeding carriage with quadruple cluster and quick-change inserts
• Parallelism of the welding carriages within <0.001 mm 
• Welding pressure 100 - 1'000 N
• Working cycle 7 seconds per workpiece
