Automatic Welding Parameter Testing and Monitoring System on a PC Basis

Our established measuring units for supervising the welding quality ETM (penetration depth) and CMB (welding current monitoring) are well known.

We present a welding parameter testing and monitoring system in multiuser-configuration on a PC basis in conjunction with G.A.S. St. Georgen D.

This system has proven itself excellently in a variety of installations and may also be supplied with a certified interface to Q-DAS process analysis systems.

Characteristic Features

PC-supported fully automatic acquisition and analysis of mechanical and electrical welding parameters with a high sampling rate (10'000 Hz)
High degree of flexibility due to modular software structure
Severat welding units or welding locations may be tested simultaneously
Clear «good/bad» evaluation with «orange» warning range
Measured values on the screen, as well as o.k./not o.k. and absolute values on the master computer (ProfiBus connection)
Data may be displayed as graphs (optimization of the welds, fault diagnostics)
Max. 6 independent welding points/ welding heads
Max. 6 current measuring sensors (LEM)
Max. 6 incremental path measuring sensors with a high resolution (0.5 / 1 µm)
Max. 30 welding joints with corresponding limit values may be defined
19 inch industrial PC, high-quality measuring sensors
Welding data may be evaluated by way of the certified Q-DAS process analysis system interface
May be updated later on, even with third-party products
