Resistronic Ltd. is a recognised manufacturer of resistance welding units and welding equipment for spot-welding of fine and ultra-fine metallic parts since 1963. After having been located in Bienne (Canton Berne), the seat of the company since 3 years is in Turgi near Baden (approx. 30 km west of Zurich). A total of 60 staff members is employed, together with its sister company Mechtronik Ltd. (mechanical and electrical manufacturing for third parties).

Resistronic Ltd. has specialised in the field of resistance welding technology from the beginning and offers a wide range of high-quality solutions in this sector. These comprise welding units, welding heads and devices, welding quality monitoring equipment, accessories as well as an assortment of subject-based services. Most of these products are manufactured in our works.

Resistronic Ltd. is certified according to the quality management system ISO 9001:2000.

Procedures / Services

Resistronic Ltd. has concentrated its activities on spot-welding of small and very small parts (fine part and micro part welding) and offers a wide variety of products and services. Any solution according to customers requirements may be fulfilled in this sector. Our customers receive superior advice and support in the design and application of the procedures, because this is the basis and the strength of Resistronic Ltd..

The following procedures, products and services are offered:

Medium / high frequency welding units:High-accuracy regulated welding units with a regulating pulse frequency of 10 kHz, with many integrated options for automation.

Impulse welding units:(Capacitor discharge) for short welding pulses, for manual work stations and automation.

A.C. welding units:For the welding of all sorts of steel.

Welding heads:A large number of different welding heads and devices, matched to any welding task, for automation and manual work stations. Special designs for special tasks.

Welding quality monitoring:Various integrated and independent arrangements for the continuous non-destructive monitoring of the welding quality, with or without data storage, with statistic analysis, etc.

Accessories:Devices, welding cables, electrodes.

Wage labour welding:Welding of samples, prototypes, pilot runs, small batches, procurement of wage labour welding capacities.

Services: advice and support in the design of the products with respect to welding technology; optimisation of existing plants, evaluation; service and maintenance of Resistronic equipment, service contracts, preventive maintenance.
